52% energy savings and 60% lower CO₂ emissions for Profondeville sports hall
What was our approach?
On behalf of the municipality of Profondeville, we carried out a thorough energetic renovation of the La Hulle sports hall. As a part of Wallonie Entreprendre’s RenoWatt programme, this project focused on reducing energy consumption and improving comfort for visitors and employees. The project consisted of:
- Roof renovation and insulation: optimisation of thermal insulation and reduction of heat loss.
- Replacement of windows: installation of new, energy-efficient windows for better sealing and less energy loss.
- New ventilation system: installation of a modern ventilation system for improved air quality and user comfort.
- Heat pumps: replacement of the old oil-fired boilers with sustainable and energy-efficient heat pumps.
What was the result?
- 52% energy savings
- Over 60% reduction in CO₂ emissions
- Increased comfort and healthier air quality
- Positive impact on local economy through cooperations with local businesses
